I tried to impress a girl by acting cool and aloof. It didn't work this time. But when I used to act cool towards other girls it worked.
Why doesn't it have the same result all the time?
And how am I supposed to know how a girl want me to act towards her?

It's, sadly, rarely ever a case of just "being yourself". If it was that easy, you and millions of other guys just like you wouldn't be asking this and other similar questions. Confidence. Yeah, that usually works. Money helps too. Cool and aloof works sometimes but you must remember one thing: while all women are similar, they all are different. Meaning: while they all like confidence, some like aloof, some like tender, some like other stuff. You need to find out more about he girl before you approach her. You're not going to get all of them. Some will just dislike you for no reason and that's how it goes sometimes but don't worry. Just like you won't like all the girls that'll like you, some won't like you. As you settle into your own personality, you will attract a certain type of girl and based on your personality you'll always attract that type. When girls are young, they like "bad boys". Well, they like guys who LOOK like bad boys. A motorcycle, leather jacket and a tattoo or two makes a great bad boy image but you still can get straight "A"s and have a steady job and not do drugs. That's what they really want: EVERYTHING.

if you put chocolate into the toaster it would melt.
Same thing - different girls = different reactions.
Try talking to her, if you find out what she likes then it will help you know what sort of thing she is looking for in a boyfriend.

maybe the girl likes u for who u are not what ur doin. just be urself to get the same result with all girls

maybe some girls will just be interested in you no matter how you act and some won't. probably about whether they fancy you or not. girls are pretty shallow.

Good question, but you don't need to loof toward her, may be she is not interested on you.
Move on if it works on someone elses just go with them

If you act, you will come unstuck. Be yourself, if she's not interested she's not interested end of story. Strange as it may sound, you are not irresistable.
