Because the shape of a cross section of a hair is not round. The closer it is to a circle the straighter the hair. The more elliptical it is the curlier the hair.

thats obvious ......curly hair is curly.....whats there to explain.....it was in the genes ........but u can make it straight or whatever u want by going 4r hair treatments
