i would like to have a comlpete real life account of how you felt when you were shot.. it could be in the torso, or hands or legs or anywhere.

and another doubt when severing the head from the body can keep the head conscious for 13 seconds, how can a weeny little bullet to the heart kill a person instantly ???

i would prefer real life accounts

it hurts really bad i was shot in the stomach
it feels like some one hit you with a steel pipe then the burning begins because of the heat of the bullet .
you can feel it in you then you start bleeding really bad and can not stand up because of the pain and injury that the bullet has caused .but the worst pain is when you are healing from the surgery's that you have to go through from the damage that was caused
not a very pleasant experience at all

OK two things no one else seems to have mentioned....

One: A severed head does not "remain conscious" for 13 seconds. Severed heads go into shock immediately. Only animals with extremely small brains continue kicking after losing their heads (chickens, lizards, etc). No first hand knowledge about this, I've read it, not tried it.

Two: A lot of times a bullet can strike you in the leg or torse, miss all arteries or major organs and the victim still dies. Why? Hydrostatic shock. The human body is 97% water. When a projectile hits a body of water with force, it creates ripples. Same thing happens in the body but it's much more intense, as the "ripple effect' continues to bounce around inside the body for minutes, sometimes even hours, causing death several hours after the shot.

having never been shot i can only relate what i have heard and that seems to vary. some describe it as a blow or a sharp jab at first. then a burning pain or numbness. it all depends on so many variables that you cannot really come up with a one true answer. as to your second question, when the blood supply to the brain is cut off either by a severing or closing of the arteries the brain shuts down almost instantly. within a few minutes brain death starts and it becomes irreversible within about 10 minutes even in the best cases. a bullet to the heart causes the same effect by either destroying the hearts ability to pump blood or by causing severe enough bleeding that there is no blood left to pump. any sudden and severe drop in blood pressure will cause the brain to shut down almost instantly. a bullet to the kidneys works almost as well as one to the heart.

Well I don't really have any personal stories to tell you about myself being hit by a bullet. However I have been in fire fights before just lucky enough to have never been hit.

What I can tell you is that many bullets contain smaller pellets inside them, this is what actually does the damage to a person. When the round enters the body the pellets bounce around inside severly wounding or killing the person hit. So you may be hit in the upper part of the chest, but have an exit wound in various places.

This is not how all bullets work however, so don't take it as gospel for every single type of round out there.

it just hurts, it is like you just got hit in the balls with a metal bat. when I got shot, the first thing I think is, did I lose my balls? first of it all my body gets numb like hell from shock then when you start to realize you are shot like that instance. Then you feel the pain more greater than anything in the world. either your own feelings comes first or your training comes first. its a long story thats a short example.

It burns, then it's numb than it hurts like holy hell and that takes place all within seconds.
