Depends what you want
for style : sony is the best
for picture quality Canon
But if you are a regular photo taker like the rest of us ( photos for celerbations, gatherings, holidays etc )then you wont notice the difference. if you want to take really high resoultion photos then go with canon

If price is no object, go with Nikon, for a camera, with good quality, at a fair price, go with Cannon.
