I’ve read and heard nothing but good about the health benefits of Pomegranate juice, but was wondering if there was anything bad about it…

The peel of pomegranate? That's the outer layer, right? Not the inner white laayer?

The peel of pomegranate has much astringent substances, which are not good in case of certain troubles of enteral tract. A part of them may go to juice.

This fruit is included also cautiously into certain very strict diets (of patients), only after doctor's consultation.

Real, Tropicana, Nectar, Dabur..etc.. all these companies mix artificial colors, sweeteners & preservatives in their products that are harmful. So you go in for fresh hand-made juice that is much healthier than these cans. Though it make take your 1 hour to prepare but you should never compromise with your health. Moreover, it is more economical as well. By the way, you should not see the cost first, see the benefits. Cost should be equal to benefits alteast.

No, there's nothing bad about pomegranate juice. The only thing you should be aware of is the calorie content per serving, because that could contribute unhealthily to your daily calorie intake if you aren't careful.

IT STAINS CLOTHING if not wiped down with a wet rag quickly after dripping it

Dont think any bad things. One thing though, it can stain clothes badly. Other than that its good.
