Whoever says church is for the naive and weak is pretty naive and ignorant themselves and too weak to face their sin....
I do go to church on my own and my parents never went. I still go because I love the sermons and hearing what my pastor teaches from the Bible. Seeing other people who know you and genuinely care how you are doing is great.
The difference between being a member of a church and just going to a church is you usually become a member after a little while of going to that church and you start to get involved and you decide that is the church you want to make your "home church" meaning that is where you would go every Sunday.

I don't live with my parents and no, I do not go to church. The difference between going to church and being a member is the members have more pressure to give to the offering plate.

First of all, it is the person's choice whether or not to go to any worship service, whether it is in a church, a synagouge, or a mosque. Also, I do not feel that parental pressure will affect the children, as it did not affect me. Now, on to the member of a church. A member is someone who has been confirmed by that church as a person who worships there, and has some standing in that establishment (this is what I have learned in experiences in Christian churches). However, it is possible to go to a church to worship and not be a member. Normally, members have the chance to be on committees and go on missions, while non-members do not.

Yes, I go to church every Sunday morning on my own. Because I think that going to church is my own relationship with God. No pressure!

I haven't gone to church since they changed the service except for funerals. If I could find a service based on the King James version, I'd probably go.
