firstly, the youngest one must be over 18 no matter what gender.

now, it be better that the older one is a male and the younger one female...cos i have notice (i might be wrong) that women tends to age quickly then men. So by the time the man hits fifty, they both look the same age.

I have a friend who married an older women and the remarks (indirectly) i get from those who just met them is not very polite. Like "she look old enough to be his mother", now put that in mind, she's just 5 years older than him.

I see that most women (not all of them) when they get married, beauty goes out the windows and some men(not all of them) prefer to start keeping fit and avoid any demaging influence like smoking and drinking and have a good diet.

Anyways, if both of you love each other then it doesn't really matter.

happy huntin'

I guess it depends on the 2 people. If both people are over 18 then I guess it's at their own discretion on whether or not 10yrs is a lot. I personally don't think 10yrs is too much, as long as both people are consenting adults.

it all depend on what age everyone is. if you are under25 then yes a ten year difference does matter, they havent experienced life to its fullest yet at any age under 25. if they are over 25 then yes it is ok. they are adults and have been thru so much. 25 years old is a good age to be with a person that is 35. but any younger is bad. teenager is worse , not a good idea, they have been thru anything. i may seem fun in the beging but at the end it is trouble and you may get into legal issues too. well good luck.

It doesn't really matter, if the person is mature enough. But if say.. a girl is 13 and shes in a relationship with a 23 year old, thats pretty bad... Because she's not mature enough, and shes going thru puberty. But nah, other then that, 10 years doesn't really matter.

after age 18 for both- it really doesnt matter- socially acceptable and seen more and more publicly is couples with 8+ age differences....

Difference matter- well only thing is you were raised seperate generations and both bring different perspectives of the world together into a relationship

Completely dependant on the two people in the relationship. I've dated men MUCH older, (15+ years), than myself and they were extremely immature. Neither relationship lasted very long.

I'm now married to a man who is actually a couple years younger than myself.
