Here's the scary part:

Lion - is the animal symbol for great britain

Eagle - is the animal symbol for United States (look at our money). The Bible says that the Lion had eagle's wings and was plucked out from it and the eagle stood and was given a man's mind. The motherland of US is great britain, until US became a antion and seperated from Great britain. U.S.A.'s other symbol is Uncle Sam (man's mind).

Bear- is the animal sybol for Russia.

Leaopard - is said to be the animal symbol for Germany.

Unknown beast - sounds like a dragon...it is still unknown. But if you read the descriptions in the Bible it sounds like a dragon. This can be the antichrist or China - the country known to use the dragon as their animal symbol.

I think you're reading too much into this. And Daniel is not the same as Revelation - some say the prophecies of Daniel have already been fulfilled by the Persian Empire.

Lion: at various points in time, symbolic of several men and families (ie, Medieval heraldry); also of Jamaica, Rastafarianism, several African nations, the Dreyfus Financial Group.

Eagle: Symbolic of the U.S. as well as of Germanic states (during its incarnation as the Holy Roman Empire, German Empire, Prussian Empire and Austrian Empire), certain Roman generals, to name a few.

Bear: Symbolic of Russia, poor financial markets, Norse tribes, many Native American tribes, Spain (particularly Madrid), and several groups within China.

Leopard: Many nations in Africa (as well as Shamanism in general, where the leopard-skin man is the healer) as well as European powers that colonized those lands.

Unknown Beast: well this could be anything from the Leviathan to the Juggernaut.

I've often thought that symbolism within Scripture must be viewed in context to the original audience (Israel during the Babylonian captivity), since it makes little sense for God to prophesy to peoples living 3 millenia hence but leave everyone in-between mystified. Consider Hebrew culture at the time to be a reference point.

Nothing, if you read the start of revelations, it says its a dream. its only been put in the newer versions of the book to scare people.
