I am on a work schedule where I have to be awake for 48 hours straight. Right now I have 32 hours left to go..I have my cigarettes to perk me up if I need it, and I've been eating fruit and drinking water for most of my meals today. Any other suggestions?

As for energy drinks, I would rather not use them. Monster Energy Drink has an ill taste, and also dehydrates your body. I need a constant energy supply that wont have me high and then low.

I love espresso, but my machine is broken! It's 2:20 A.M. so I don't really want to go for a walk, there are wild coyotes in my neighborhood that just might turn me into lunch meat.

I have a small dime of marijuana right now, but I really don't think that would do much for staying awake. It always puts me to sleep. I took adderall as a child for Attention Deficit Disorder and it made me feel pretty sick, so I don't even want to go there anymore. Your results are great, guys, keep up the work and maybe one of you will get best answer!

The greatest secret to staying awake is sunflower seeds. Salted with shells. You will be amazed when you try this, but the reason is simple: eating increases your metabolism. Sunflower seeds won't fill you up.

The best way to stay awake is to drink Coffee or eat candy or something with a lot of sugar in it. But why do you want to stay awake for 48 hours anyway?

Look, if you have enough worries and serious willing to finish your job you will do it wihtout taking anything to aid .. if it 's not serious enough to keep you awake, then you may just take a deep sleep and forget about the hell they wanna you to do.
If you're really looking for some help, i would prefer to wash the back of your head with cold water every half an hour, just put your head under the tap .. this will give you 30 minutes more .. and so on .. I totally discourage and medical or natural analeptics.

Eat a healthful diet and drink lots of milk. Also energy drinks can help a lot.

i do not know what kind of job is this ?that makes you awake for 48 hours,but medically speaking it is not right to go on this.
your body needs a normal rest rhythm,otherwise you will deplete your psychological energy soon ,and might end in collapse.

You should drink "burn" or an other high energy drink with "coffeine" and "taurine" witch tells your brain's somatic system to work even if it exhausted or it's biorithm messed up from not sleeping.
