by hitting a girl do you mean coming on to her? well if u do then i must say it depends on what u r looking for by the conversation...so saying how are you and how was your weekend can be an innocent chat or it can be a way to hit on her.

Well i wouldn't recommend that you 'hit' a girl. But you could 'hit on' a girl. No.. if you say hello, and how is she.. then thats just chatting to her. But if you go on further and flirt with her.. then thats hitting on her. But please, for your sake, don't hit a girl. Lol.
