Hmm this story is real, some kids in our high school was playing with the Ouija Board, as in using the coin and some paper as the board. So they were playing it, but when they decided to end the session, they tried to remove their fingers off the coin BUT they could not remove it! Their fingers really got stuck there to the coin and they couldn't move it away. They got really panic and some people have called the teacher adviser for Christian Fellowship and she prayed for them. And the spirits left, and they are free to move again.
I'm not sure what caused their fingers to be stuck there, but the prayer sure did cast it out. Praise God!

Actually I wondered the same thing, so I did a little research. You have a point about it "just being a game". It's probably mass produced somewhere in Taiwan even as we speak (or type, as the case may be).
However, the ouija holds some power precisely because of the fear people have. Like many things it also has power because others believe it will work. For example, I've heard of people's tumors disappearing or miraculously walking after being in a wheelchair or of the blind seeing. These all work because of intense faith.
Many mediums and psychics do not recommend using the ouija because, they say, it channels "lower spiritual entities to harrass, torment, and cause fear and confusion". Someone who is seeking true spiritual enlightenment generally steers clear of lower spirit forms and focuses on contacting the highest spiritual beings so that they can be transformed by the experience.

I have a Ouija board, and it's in my mother's basement right now. We used it a lot when I was a kid- a teenager. I believe it works, because it did for us. I certainly never moved it- and the answers it spelled out made perfect sense.
I think that if you're in the right frame of mind, you can access another dimension with it. And that's why so many are afraid of it. No evil spirits surfaced when we used it as teens. I think this is because we were innocent enough they left us alone, and believing enough that the good spirits that were out there were eager to work with us.
I'm not sure what would happen if I used it today. I'm more skeptical, and I've seen more evil in this life- and know it's out there. Either it wouldn't work because I'm more skeptical, or an evil spirit may just recognize my present mindset as being unsettled and try to come through.
I've often wondered. But I've not wondered enough to get out the Ouiga board.

See what happens is that hollywood has made it into this big thing. Also when you play and you dont know a thing a/b it it seems that the ??mouse?? moves itself. When what is really happening is that it disconnects you from conscious behavior, so the board gives you the answers you want without you knowing it. Its weird...but there's a simple experiement you can do to prove that Ouiji dosen't work.
Yeah its fun on camping trips but for all those who take it as real...just stop. Get a group of friends together and start playing, in the middle of it stop them, blindfold them and when they are blindfolded, (without telling them)turn the board upside down. Now if there were really spirits then they'll be able to tell that yes and no are on the opposite side of the board.

Why can't demons come to my house without an invitation? Do they need an Ouija Board? Trivial Pursuit, now that's a demonic game! One night my Golden Retriever became possessed and in a guttural demonic voice would repeatedly scream the secret of Bush's Baked Beans. The Trivial Pursuit pieces blew off the board and my cat cried out in a equally demonic voice, "The dog mixes truth with lies. There is a patent you can't duplicate the recipe or you will get sued!" Finally Jesus came through the ceiling and made everything better. He dropped the beard and sandals. He said it was to look more relevant.

Because they're stupid.
I LOVE the Ouija board! It's wild!..And FUN.
It's true. It's our subconcios mind that's actually MOVING it. That's why you need atleast 2 players.
I've been playing with it for YEARS, with my frienda and sister, and NEVER, has anything wicked or evil happened. NOT EVER.
I think some people are just a little over dramatic and they're filling a void in their life.
It's entertaining, to think something "EVIL" is going on.
Actually, from my experience with it, my sister and I on two occasions, had something really wild happen.
We were just messing around with it and suddenly, the planchette started moving so fast, we couldn't read what it was saying.
We asked the person??,to please slow down, so we could read it.
It was like it had gone berserk!
It slowed down. It was saying that there were 2 young boys out on a boat. in lake Henderson. This was at 2 AM in the morning.
It said, "They hit a rock and the boat capsized. They're DROWNING, THey're Drowing!!!! It was a hysterical plea for help. It just kept repeating that sentence over and over and over, at light speed. It was moving SO FAST, we could not keep our hands on it. It had just gone wild.
So, there ARE, apparently, occasions where , maybe people from the other side DO use us to comunicate certain things! LOL! I don't know! I'm just relating 2 things that actually happened but I cannot explain it. I'll tell you the second thing, in just a moment.
Over all the years of playing with it, no one I know, has ever suffered any bad things from it.
I guess, people have heard such stories as mine and make a bigger deal out of it, than it really is.
I, for one, CAN testify, that what happened on those two occasions, is unexplainable but FRANKLY, COOL.
What can I say?
My sister and I didn't know what to do.
Should we call the police? Who would believe us?/?
If we told anyone, we KNEW, that no one would believe us. They would just laugh.
It left my sister and I upset because we knew that there was nothing we could do.
Next day, right on the front page of the Sunday paper,read....
"Teen Brothers Drown In Boating Accident on Lake Henderson, overnight over night".....
Wild!
One other thing happened. We were sitting there playing with it and asked if there was a ghost in the house.
We wanted to know if it was a GOOD ghost or a bad ghost.
Here's the good part.....We were just talking about what question we should ask next.
Neither one of us had our hands ANYWHERE CLOSE, to the planchette, when we decided to ask that question next.
As soon as I said the word "GOOD", the planchetted darted, all by itself, to the word..YES............Wild.
That is all I've got to say about it.
Those two incidents blew our minds.
But evil?...I never saw or got any impression that it was EVIL!
Intriguing? Yes......Unexplainable? Definitly.
Evil?.. Well Not for us. I don't know why, SO many people think it's evil. I think they're just bored and are searching desperatly for some excitement in their life.
I JUST READ AN ANSWER, THAT WAS GIVEN TO YOU, ABOUT SYLVIA BROWNE.......I'm one of her best FANS!!!!!
Yeah, I've heard her say that, many times. LEAVE IT ALONE!
I love her....but you've got to take into consideration, her vantage point.
She is SO psychic, I don't blame her for wanting to stay clear from it. Also, she is just advising people, that it really isn't a good idea to use it, if you're going to freak out about it and leave you with nightmares.
There ARE evil entities out there but they dwell in another plane, than WE do.
They can't harm us. They can only scare you. That's all.
SATAN???...Well, if you want to believe in the Easter Bunny TOO, go ahead.
I wish people would grow up. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SATAN......For crying out loud.

If it is "just a stupid kids ghost game" why bother with the question. I don't fear the "game" I just don't think I need a "Stupid kids ghost game" in my home or life. As a Christian, the Bible teaches us to avoid divination which is what a Ouija board is used for. It is not fear just good judgement.

Ouija boards are up there with horoscopes in things that are nonsense. However since some people, particularly ones distressed over a loved ones death, might try to use these things to try to contact the dead, among other methods.
The real problem with these things is not so much people who use them and know its fake, its the people who use them, believe them, and make people like palm readers and psychics rich.

Yah, it's not a game and you don't need anything but ignorance to invite those kind of spirits/demons into your life! So although ppl like to say it's just a game, until they have actually expirienced it they will continue to be ignorant! Be aware that without a powerful faith in the solid foundation of Christ, playing those kinds of games can be very danerous!

Not so, many people I know who have messed with them have regretted it. People have even moved from their houses, because of the spirits they brought into their houses. Sometimes their is no effect, but I have truly heard from people I trust who have bad experience with them.
If you are still a skeptic, just ask Sylvia Brown a known Psychic, she has said this many times on Coast to Coast Radio, also on Montel Williams show. She's no fake either.
