There are supposedly other "Christ" figures. Some of them were women too! There is also a debate as to whether or not Christ was really Crucified the way some think.

I don't know. But when drawing parallels it would probably be better to look at which ones were killed in the popular manner of their time period. Crucifixions were very common in roman times...so that's why it would have been used for jesus.

Crucified? I don't know. But pagan religious beliefs dating back centuries before Christ had saviors dying for people here on Earth.
