I wouldn't.

For some of you non-intellectuals who continue to criticize my questions, here is my reason for asking this question. This is from a person in the medical field who has written many articles on the impact of illegal immigrants on our health:

They have been seen urinating on the produce.

Yes, I am partisan. I am totally against a group of people breaking the laws of my country to gain entry, bringing in filthy dangerous diseases, some of which there is no cure, abusing our hospitals until they close their doors (which then offers Americans fewer medical facilities), abusing our govenment tax paid (by legal citizens) welfare services, overcrowd our schools, disrespect our people, claim land that is not theirs, bring in their gangs, drugs, crime, destroy our neighborhoods, have the audacity to demand we cater to them and more. Yes, I am partisan. I am also a patriotic American citizen who will fight to keep our country intact and safe for our families. I people don't like it, too bad. I'm going to keep on fighting.

olemissloper- Of course I want Bush impeached. He wants to give amnesty to illigal immigrants, at the expense of the TAX paying American citizens. He caters to them and the corporate world. He allowed, for too long, their criminal activity to continue. He lied about WMD in Iraq and he knew about threats to the USA BEFORE 9-11, among other things.

I have just loved your last few questions. They actually make me chuckle. I think you have a legitimate concern. The potential for contagious diseases spreading throughout America increases proportionately with the number of illegals.

After a good washing, Why not!! I would worry more about the pestisides and stuff that gets on it along the way from farm to produce section at market than urine. By the time the tomato got to the consumer, the more concerning viruses, such as HIV would (along with some of the bacterial infections) be dead. It would not have the human host and conditions to survive. In that case, it is best to wash all fruits and veggies just in case...You never know where it has been!!

I try not to take anymore toxins that I have to now. I don't like what is in my water now.
And no I would not. Isn't it a sick world?
And anyone who would ignore that someone would so such a thing is just as sick.
Let us go back to taking care of things and quit worrying about what we don't have.
I am not for Amnesty-we have enough people and problems to fix first.
I am for border patrol-close it.
I am not a racist I just want us to start being a little self reliant. We couldn't grow enough food now in the States to feed those here if we had too. Rather people believe this or not.
I want enough land so we do not wipe our wildlife out of different States.
We have plenty of poor here to help who are in line first.
And if I catch someone peeing on a tomato -I don't care what race he is-I am going to take action-no matter what his point is. And any supporter is going to feel it to.
Now that is out of my system. Have a good day your point is well done.

I knew some of the facts in that article, but taken together, that is an amazing view on health problems. TB, polio, and LEPROSY coming back to this country in illegal immigrants (Someone else had said leprosy back a bit, but I thought they were nutso).

The writer is clearly partisan, but her citations are many.

Wow.

Why would you be so sure that someone urinated on it? You're so ignorant. I can't believe there is still stupid people like you left on this earth! Rats urinate on your soda cans while they're sitting in a warehouse waiting to be packaged and shipped out all over america.

What about the tons of tomatoes that's been urinated on and turned to ketchup and sauces for pasta? Would your 'intellectual' instinct tell you to avoid the red stuff too?

That all depends on who did the urinating and if I got to watch. I'm talking about you Maria Sharipova.

If I was Hungary and the choice was eat the washed tomato or not eat...That's easy I would eat it up, and if I was truly freaked out about the urine I would peal it and eat the center.

The USDA allows flower to contain a percentage of feces. If you smell someone's flatulance, you're breathing in what just came out of their anus. It's gross, but, that's life.
