Dating a boy at your church is a good thing but dating at the age of 12 is not. You should just hang out until you are about 16 then start the dating thing. You can like someone and be friends with out really dating which is going places like the movies alone. hanging out is going to the movies with his and your friends.

It's probably best if you do date a boy you met at church, but 12 is pretty early for any kind of serious dating.
