The latino community is the most affected because the immigrants compete with them in the jobs they work, lowering the wages, and send their children to the same schools the latinos do, lowering the quality of their education.

A whole bunch of them are not in favor of amnesty. According to polls, a majority of Latinos consider illegal immigration to be a serious problem.

However, they are the ones most likely to have family who are illegal immigrants, and to be living in communities of illegal immigrant friends. Also, if they themselves speak Spanish better than English, having other Spanish speakers around them might be more comfortable for them in a direct inverse of how less comfortable it is for us. Also, to the extent they too are poor, they also are being subsidized in education and health care, rather than being the ones paying for that subsidy. I think as you climb the economic ladder to the ones who are footing the bill, tolerance for illegal immigrants drops.

Even with that most Latinos are opposed to illegal imigration, however. Why do you think that is?

Yes, Latinos are the group most negatively affected by illegal immigrants. But there are millions of Hispanics that want no amnesty and illegal immigration stopped.

Is grammar not taught in school any longer? "Why do the Latinos....is in favor of amnesty?" I hope you were born here pal, because you would need an intensive English course to pass the citizenship test.
