i have medium lengthed hair and tomorrow i'm dressing crazy so i want to put my hair in a mowhawk. i tried before but it didn't work. how do you get it to stay up?

Styling wax would probably work (or super glue).

well I have a product called got2b glued styling spiking glue. 4. Screaming hold. it is at walmart www.got2b.com I use it to spike my hair and to do my son's mohawk. If you need a long mowhawk you may want to use a dreyer in conjunction. I'd do it with dry hair. You want to use the right amount too not to much or it will be damp. You can use egg whites too but I wouldn't. and never underestimate the power of aquanet hair spray.

I knew a guy with a huge mohawk and he got someone to iron it for him. He put heaps of gel in it and then bent over the ironing bored with his hair in between a folded up bedsheet

Try using Ice Spiker Gel.

elmers glue mixed with a really strong hold styling gel. thats what my friend does with her mowhawk.

Believe it or not egg whites. When they are applied to the hair and dried they will hold better than any gel on the market.

use "Got 2 Be" hair glue. it works awesome!!! all you gotta do is out it in your hair when it is a little damp and style it (in your case, turn your head upside down and comb it in place) and then completely cover your hair in it.
the stuff comes in a yellow tube and it costs like $4.00 for a big tube that would last you a long time!!! i really reccommend it!!

since its only a one day thing I would not spend a lot of money on it...........just get a very good freeze hair spray a cheap one..........spray your hair till its very wet with spary and dry your hair while leaning over to make it stay up..sounds like a fun day for you good luck ...you may need to reply the spray often

you can style your mohawk then put some super glue gel or just put in alot of level10 holding power gel hope this works:)
