Okay, I know this is singles and dating, but too bad. Okay, so I've always been a skinny person, and I never had to really watch what I ate. But now as I'm in my teens, my metabolism is slowing down, and if I don't watch it, I'm going to start gaining weight. What are some ways to avoid gaining weight, with out major dieting. No, anorexia is not an option.

Read everything you can on nutrition. Read food labels and count calories, to stay fit you have to burn as many or more calories than you are taking in. Avoid processed foods and carbs. Eat lots of fruits and veggies and drink lots of water, avoid soda and junk food. Exercise at least a half hour a day.

Okay,if you eat a little bit (like half of a serving size) once every two hours and run once or twice a day for 10/15 minutes your boby burns the weight off, since it keeps getting food and is working!!! In two weeks I lost 20 pounds!

just be a lil' more carful, dont eat alot of junk food, go for fruits and veggies, stay healthy, get on a sports team, keep active, burn off all the excess fats from the foods you eat

well.. it's like this. as an individual's metabolism slows down, the body is actually experiencing hundreds of different physiological processes. unfortunately, turning your body's activities around is very difficult to do. my suggestion is.. stop eating completely. sock it to your body, show it who's boss. you know what? your body works for you. you fuel it, you groom it.. you take care of it. it's time for it to take care of you. one hand washes the other. if one hand's not working for the other, there's no reason to provide it with the luxuries of nutrition.

work out; you can even just start walking every day. it's easy. don't drink booze and watch the junk food

Eat more salads and fruits......Watch your portions....Stay active.
ELIMINATE fast food places!

i would just say,,,,watch what you eat!!! and just excercise!!! not to a huge rate just like everyone does!!
