None of them work, they are not good for you , and can cause you more problems than good, your best bet is a healthy diet of fresh fruits and veggies, and very lean meats, you should eat 6 small meals a day, stay away from white sugar, and white foods, such as white bread, rice, pastas, potatoes, and anything fried, eat only boiled, broiled, or baked foods, or grilled, and if you do fry, use cooking sprays, not oils, except for virgin olive oil, and only a tablespoon at the most.. stay away from soda's even the diet ones.. drink plenty of water, if you do drink diet drinks limit them to one of two a day.. they are not good for you kidneys, tea is good for you epically green tea.. there are all sort of flavored teas out there, that are very good for you, and don't forget to take a good multi vitamin.. the diet pills will damage your body, and do you no good at all, you may lose weight with them, but will end up gaining it all back plus more,,

Check with your doctor before starting any weight loss program.
Anyone who attempts to lose weight by reducing calorie consumption experiences feelings of hunger and fatigue. Hoodia diet pills attempt to reduce those feelings, making it easier to stick to a low calorie diet and therefore lose weight. As with any weight loss plan, only people who are in good health should use hoodia diet pills and they should be used in conjunction with appropriate diet and exercise. Because thirst is suppressed as well as appetite, it is important to remember to drink plenty of water. Most experts recommend eight 8 ounce glasses per day to maintain proper hydration. Other than thirst suppression, there are no known side effects associated with hoodia diet pills and they are probably a much better choice than diet pills containing stimulants.
I tried Hoodia and......
Hoodia has worked for me...and with no side effects.
For all you doubters, here is the prior feedback for another Answers user who followed my advice:
Asker's Rating: *****
very good comment i lost 2 lbs in a week
i think i can almost get in my leather dress, i can hit the town in no time
**** VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO GET RIPPED OFF ---
#1. Be sure you are buying pure Hoodia...look for the import certificate on the website. No matter the price, if they do not display this, you really do NOT know what you are getting!
#2. Be sure it is 100% Hoodia & not mixed w/other herbs, etc.!!
#3. Keep in mind it stops your hunger pangs…you MUST remember to break your habit to always eat at certain times.
#4. Drink a full 8oz. glass of water with it!
Hoodia (HOOD-ee-uh) gordonii - A genus of 10 to 20 species from southwestern Africa.
Hoodia gordonii is the stoneage wonder plant found throughout the dry arid regions of the South western African continent now on the verge of making history in the fight against obesity. It is a genus belonging to the Asclepiadaceae family which consists of approximately 20 species. Used to stop hunger, quench thirst, and provide energy among other things since prehistoric times, Hoodia gordonii was first discovered by the San tribesmen and women to get through the most difficult of times.
You can read a good article about how it works at:

When you say "work" I am going to assume you mean "to lose body fat."
Perhaps you hope if you take a pill you will not only lose bodyfat and also get a toned look.
One problem with a pill is they do not address the underlying cause of the undesirable weight gain in the first place...
So, after the pill has wrecked your metabolism by causing you to lose your appetite and starve yourself while cranking you up on stimulants, which work together to burn off muscle and cause the body to produce excess Lipoprotein Lipase - to increase fat storage during times of starvation and high stress. The pills also cause you to lose water weight along with the muscle weight, because of the diuretics and also because muscle is 75% water and ALSO because when you eat less you lose some water...
So in the end you THINK it worked. The scale lies to you and tells you it worked because you are lighter...even though when you stop the pills you feel like heck because the stimulants are addictive (while cranking you up, they cause the adrenal glands to back off) ..and you get sick because most of the pills have some form of immune system stimulant to keep you healthy while wrecking your metabolism!
Now you weigh less (due to loss of muscle and water) and your appetite returns...complete with cravings for sugar and fat things because your body thinks you were starving and so it sent out neurotransmitters to get you to eat the most calorie and energy dense foods in existence (ice cream, cheese cake, pizza...)..and because you lost muscle which is the place on the body that burns fat, and now that you are no longer on the stimulants you have really low energy due to the adrenal effect..you are dragging...so you are eating more food, moving less and have a crippled metabolism...plus the food choices you are driven to make cause your body to preferentially store everything you do eat as fat...
You gain the weight back, only now you have more fat and a slower metabolism...and either feel you need the pills again or look for another quick, easy solution.
Other pills interfere with digesting fats or digesting carbohydrates...
Another very unpleasant business that in the end causes the body to feel starved again..it sends out the neurotransmitters and you hear those voices in your head (ice cream, cheese cake, pizza...) that have NOTHING to do with will-power..but rather with screwing with your body chemistry...THEY ARE CAUSED BY DIETING and caloric deprivation!!! Since you are depriving the body of calories again, you lose muscle gain in fat...etc...
Would you call that working?
No, but that is how they "work." Honest.
What really works?
The right nutrition (eating not starving)
Moderate aerobic exercise (too much is not good)
A concern for muscle (protect and challenge muscle)
Then, you can take control of your body once and for all!

easy.... no pills... just get the brand from Nutrilite from Amway, CB Plus. and u can eat all the thing just like before. It won't help to diet but, it will absorb all the carbohidrate from the food you taken. No need diet pills anymore. But before eating the supplement, remember to eat something first. If not, serious problem will occur.

Diet and exercise are the only things that truly work and are the only truly safe and healthy method. They must go hand in hand.
