Seitenstich.....meaning: stitch....it's not just plain stitch? If it is...try the following: exhale short twice, then let the inhalation come naturally...don't gasp for air...so again: two out- one in...two out- one in....out-out-iiiiiiin,... (keep this until you finish running).....I don't know how else to explain it to you here, but it's what I learned as a P.E. teacher in Germany. Try....and remember don't gasp for air...it should be a consequence to exhaling adequately....This prevents stitch, if you do it right, because it promotes breathing through the belly....so your "uneven ribs" will not work against you.

Can I ask why your ribs are uneven in the first place? Instinctively, I'd suggest contacting an orthopedic doctor. They can offer you options (surgical and non-surgical).

try slathering your ribs with BBQ sauce and wrapping them in alum foil over night. next day cook in slow oven , 250 degrees F. for four hours, finish on grill with out burning. serve with Cole slaw/mac salad
