why are people so cruel? people today care so much about looks that there cruel and mean to people. i have had my own experiences like when i asked a girl out i liked and she, and i quote,"HELL NO, YOUR F****** UGLY!!! just because i have acne. i wish all people would treat everyone with some respect.

That's horrible!! Mainly because their parents don't teach them any respect or peer pressure makes them feel like they have to be mean to feel better about themselves.

She's so mean.
Being cruel and mean are the things that both pretty and not-so-good-looking people do. So I don't judge by the looks. As long as you got a good heart and clean mind, then you are beautiful.
I know someone who weighs like 165lbs but she likes making fun of people. She always got something to say about how others are. I don't want to shut her mouth up though because of I say something, she's gonna be real hurt of the truth. It's like she's gaining her confidence through her mean habit.

At least your acne will go away. My eyes will not be fixed becuase frankly I dont' have the money but do thoes rich people care no they would rather throw a million away at the whaler table in vegas than use it to free someone financially for a whole lifetime. What a waste of money. People are mean sobs get used to it at least you will go back to looking normal then you can stick your nose down at people like me and feel better about yourself again.

People are cruel because of "society" !! everyone is suppose to conform to one ideal of beauty, stature, intelligence..and what ever else they can think of... take heavy people for example..back long ago..it was considered beautiful to have weight on you..due to the fact it meant you had money and possibly royalty.
Some people just don't realize they are hurting anyone when they say and do cruel things. some people think that its OK and acceptable! So keep your head up not everyone is cruel...just those in in all reality shouldn't matter to you if they don't like you for who you are!

I agree with you. You know what? People who would respond to you like that are low class, and aren't even worth your time. Sometimes being treated poorly teaches us to sympathize with people, and is a good lesson to learn. I'm not saying you deserve this, I'm just saying that the lesson you learn from people being horrible like this, may serve you well in the long run, and help make you successful. Someone who asks the question that you just asked, is definitely above someone who responds to someone by calling them ugly.

It is just a calling of nature, then depend on your surrounding culture whether the people are cruel or not. I would agree with you that we should treat others with respect.

No body and i repeat no one will care or give a damn of how u feel unless they are the one in the picture. Its pointless looking for an ounce of sympathy in this material world!
U have to trust urself first and then go for it all by urself, BUT remember parents are there as a beacon light guiding u back in case u fall short of ur target. Be independent and when the world turn its back on u, u do the same!!

I agree with you 100%.
People should go by personalitiy. It's what matters most. I am sorry to hear your story.
If she's like that, then she's not worth it, and I'm sure there's someone else out there for you. Don't worry about her, or your looks. People are shallow and that's their choice. They'll just miss out on a good chance.
