im a teenanger an i would like to lose some wieght, im 5'6 abround 135 pounds. i'd like to lose 20 pounds or until i look toned and healthy.any tips that will get me through? i have around 2 months. oh yeah, will i lose wieght if i burn around 650 cal's a day?

First of all, your weight is very appropriate for your height. Second, a pound is 3500 calories. If you burn 650 calories a day X 7 days that equals 4550, which is roughly a 1.3 lbs. -- So, yes - you would lose weight and it would be a good rate. Losing it slowly is the best way - although, like I said, you sound like you're just fine the way you are. Good luck!

I think you'd be happier in the long run if you did more toning than dieting. You are not 20 pounds over weight. I'd say maybe 5-10 pounds depending on your bones. Exercise will make you feel better than any diet. Try walking. If you do any form of exercise after 20 minutes you start burning fat. So try to get a minimum of 30 minutes in a day. As for food.....just cut out sodas, salt that you add, junk food, etc. You'll be surprised. Start dieting young and it'll be a life long battle

Your height is your friend. 20 pounds shouldn't be a problem. Increase your exercise, eat more fresh fruit & vegetables and watch the high carb food. You will lose that 20 pounds in no time. But remember, don't overdo the weight loss. Stay healthy and good luck!

(i sugest you burn more calories just because that means a healthyer better looking person. my fav cardio activeis that burn the most are volleyball, trampolean jumping, dancing around for like 10, and walking around the block for thrity)

It depends on how many calories you take in the day you burn those 650 calories...or should I say in a week.
Try weight watchers and working out...That's a good healthy way to start especially if you just really want to drop just a few and get toned.
