I never bought a car from a dealer. I will never do so.

I am always able to find what I need from a private seller.

I save so much more money in private sales than if I bought through a dealership. You can always fudge what you bought it for in a private sale, and save money on sales taxes when you go title and register it for the first time.

Just try getting the dealership to give you a break on your taxes...it will not happen!

A vehicle is a poor investment. Why throw your money away to those creeps?

Try buying highline, like BMW or Mercedes. The whole process is joyfull. No finance manager, salesman don't follow you around unless you ask for one. It's great, the more you spend the better you are treated.

Waiting. Everytime you haggle with the sales person they make you wait while they go get your offer approved by the dealer (get a cup of coffee).

Then you wait another 30 min to sit with the finance guy and sign your paperwork.

signing the papers.. because then i know i still have to pay for it... now if it was completely paid for, then actually the worst part would be making the decision of which car would be the best value and still make me look great in it... ooohh la la sasoon

the actual "deal" or the loan/finance process. when they sit you in the loan officer's small office or cubicle, and try to make it look like they aren't screwing you over as bad as they truly are.
