If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Simple but so true.
There's a little thing called 'Human Nature'. To challenge, is natural. Ok, there may be some who can only use insult as a retort, but they only show themselves to be ignorant. If you truly believe, that faith should keep you from taking the bait, if you can control that Human Nature of yours, that is.(that's no easy feat either, I know) Regardless of religion, you should have the presence of self to be able to rise above it! Question, research and learn ALL you can about what you believe to be the truth, without bias, as is possible and you will become a better person for it. Knowledge really is power. One can know the future, if one studies the past. Even the Philosopher's of old new this. It is not an Occult statement, just a call to learn and from that knowledge you will be able to grasp the subtleties of the way we are, therefore see where we are heading in a clearer light and be able to just, well, get over it...

Those that don't believe have just as many rights as those that do. It's very selfish of you to think that a forum should be only for your religion. There's over six billion people in this world, you are but one. Your religion isn't even the largest in the world. How dare you tell people what they can or cannot say? How dare you tell people what they can or cannot believe? Keep your faith. I am happy you do, but don't tell other's that they can't have their own and that they can't talk about them openly. As silly as not believing is in your eyes or as silly as Muslims may be in your eyes, please try as much as you can to understand that you are seen as just as silly to those other people who believe differently than you do. In the history of your religion there are many times that your people have killed other people because they don't follow your faith. I have never heard of non-religious people going off on wacko rampages slaughtering people of other faiths because they are different. Instead of complaining about these people you need to take some time and look at yourself and the history of your religion.
That part aside, I do agree that some people ask some stupid questions that they don't need to ask and it's a waste of people's time. If they would just do a little research, as you seem to have not done yourself, then many of those insulting questions would not be asked.

Unless you claim to be perfect, (and if you are a Christian, you know that that's just not so,) then you are a flawed human being, like the rest of us. It's not an excuse, just an answer. Or an excuse for an answer. Here: 1Corinthinians 10:10
10 Nor grumble, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the destroyer.
That whole section is pretty good, about not giving offense :)
Take care!

Psalm 4:4 Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah as well as NT: Ephesians 4:26 "Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath,
Remember it is not a personal "attack" on you that people are making...and the Lord has been actively & quite adeptly defending Himself for 1000's of years. Take heart dear one..God sees the hearts of all men. Just continue on in the Love of Christ. Pray for those that say "mean or hurtful things" May the Lord be with you always.

Jesus got angry, remember he killed that tree. Jesus didn't sin so anger must not be a sin. However, I think we should be moderate and letting our anger take over is bad. God promised that the persecuted will be rewarded for preservering so hang in there. I understand your frustration. I try to steer clear of this section when I can because I feel so hated here. But it will all be ok in the end. God bless you everyone here.

Believers most definitely have a right to get angry. They are slowly having their rights taken away from them to create a more "tolerant, diverse" world when non-believers are sometimes the most intolerant of them all. For example, if someone says "Merry Christmas" at my work, they get written up because people complain. Say "Happy Hanukkah" or "Happy Kwanzaa" or "Happy Non-Discriminant December Celebration" and everyone is fine. People need to calm down a bit, to each his own!
I have a friend who is an atheist... she says it makes her more "open-minded" about religions, but when you bring up Christianity she cuts you off and says "That is SOOO stupid!"
Keep your cool though. Laugh if off. Everyone has their opinions.
And you're right, making remarks about ANYONE'S God is distasteful.

Yes, we can be angry. Jesus was angry at times... clearing the temple, cursing a tree that didn't have fruit, etc. The Word says we can be angry if we do not sin, and to resolve the issues with love and understanding. This applies to those who are unbelievers and especially with other believers. Speak the truth to everyone in love.

If you are for a religion of love, it makes no sense to get angry or hateful. In fact, it only does the opposite and makes people see your religion wrong. It's what turned me off of Christianity before, I've been on both sides.

Yes they have a right to get angry. Just like non-christians have a right to get angry when they are judged for their beliefs by christians. I have had more hate mail from 'christians' than any other belief system, simply because I don't believe in the same as them.

Yes believers can get angry, but at the same time, they should not sin in that anger.
