a simple wedding ceremony soon and i am thinking of wearing white dress pants and an nice shirt rather than a dress as i am NOT a dress or skirt person...if you went to a wedding(on which it was stated on the invites that it would be casual)would you think it was weird of the bride to not wear a dress?

Well, it's your wedding so I think you should be able to wear whatever you feel comfortable with regardless of what everyone thinks. It's your day so enjoy it! My best wishes out to you and your family! Congratulations!

No, i would not think anything of the bride not wearing a dress. Sometimes it just isn't the women's thing. Plus we all know these days the dresses are crazy amounts of money. So enjoy yourself and dont worry about what others think.. its your wedding.

I think most people expect a bride to wear a dress....some kind of dress.BUT if you feel like wearing a pants set...This IS your wedding.DO IT!!!Don't worry about what others think.Hopefully, this will be your only marriage and do it the way you want.Life is to short and I wish you a long, healthy, happy marriage and many more children!!!

Just remember that it's your day - therefore you can do what YOU like! So many people get caught up trying to make other people happy, that on their big day, it's them who are disappointed. You should definately wear what you feel comfortable in, because it's likely to be a long day, and if anyone says anything otherwise about your choice of clothing, stick them on a table down the back and see what they say then. It's YOUR day, don't let anyone tell you otherwise or judge your decisions - you are the one getting married, not them!

No, I wouldn't think it was weird... I've heard of blue-jean pants weddings & I didn't think it was weird either. I like being comfortable too. Anyway, the most important reason to marry is for love, not fluff. Besides, it's YOUR wedding, so ENJOY.

I think it would be really cool to see a bride that wasn't wearing a dress, but pants instead. I say go for it. :)

I say dont sweat the small stuff... just be yourself ...I think the most important thing is that you feel comfortable on your special day ... your gonna look beautful to him no matter what your wearing .. and besides anyone who knows you knows u enough to know u dont wear dresses so they would prolly find it weird seeing u in one LOL.. Wear what you wish it's your wedding I don't know why your wearing white but it's your wedding you can come in a monkey suit if you want.
