why do some black girls dislike white girls that date black guys??

I usually only date Black guys and alot of his black female friends or family really dis like me. I don`t think it is right though.

I don't see the big deal. If white women are dating all the black men, why can't black women date white men, Mexicans, etc? Plus I feel like a lot of the black women who are upset by seeing a white woman with a black man have issues with themselves. Seriously, there are pleny of black men. If you can't find one re-evaluate yourself.

People please, she just asked a question yet hardly anyone is actually giving her an answer but just calling her racist. As for me, yes I do think it's a bit weird that you would feel that way and it is racist, but I can understand a little. First of all, I'm pretty sure slavery started in Europe before America. but, yeah it seemed worse here. However, that is a long time ago. If you are saying the black girls don't have any respect for their ancestors then so would the white guys because their ancestor could have possibly abhorred black people too.Yes, America has a long bitter history with racism but if the white guy is dating the black girl, the chance of him being the type of racist her ancestor would hate is pretty low.

We still live in a racist world. I for one could care less what color you are as long as your in love. There alot of people out there who don't understand that GOD put us on this earth together to love one another not fight, kill, or hate each other. Maybe some of these black women don't have anyone and are just jealous. We do have a shortage on our black males. We are also considered to be strong willed. But why wouldn't a man want his woman to be strong and successful? I have always heard that our black males only date white woman so they can "run over them" because they know they cannot get over on a black woman. You also have think about the fact our race did go thru hell back in the slavery days and some of us have not gotten over what white people did to us. That was your ancestors that did that so of course you had nothing to do it with but the color of your skin and the constant showings of roots does not help. I hope your relationship works out because if his family does not like you and he listens to every tom, ****, and harry your relationship will not last long.

Some black women feel that the black men who date white women are traitors and that the white women who date black men are stealing from the pool of acceptable men available to them.

This isn't only a black man/white woman issue. This is a problem that covers all "races". I assure you that there a plenty of white men who are none too happy with you....a white woman dating a black man.

Another consideration might be the pain your future children will have to bear. It would be nice if we lived in a color blind world.....but as you clearly know, by your choice to date black men, we don't. Sadly most children who are biracial have troubles fitting in. The black kids don't really accept them and the white kids don't really accept them either. Sure they usually make a few friends....but from my experience working at a school....they have problems fitting in.

I am a black girl and I must admit that I am not comfortable with black guys dating girls who are not black. I am not prejudice but I guess I just wonder why a black man feels like he needs to date outside of his race when there are plenty of black girls available. I think that sometimes black men go to white women for the wrong reasons. I think that black men sometimes go to white women because black women have very strong personalities and some black men don't have a strong personality to deal with us. I just think that black men should be with a woman who looks like the women who supported and encouraged him growing up.(his mother, grandmother, sister). I also think that black women have a problem with white girls/black men because in our communities due to the way we grow up there is already a shortage of black men. I know it's something I should work on but a black man with a white woman automatically loses some respect from me.

that goes back to the way black people are raised, or should i say most. it is a sticky subject because most black women feel that black men should be with black women. a lot of black men consider black women to be too domineering, or should i say strong willed and they are not going to take much crap. on the other hand most white women seem to be too easy with black men. we feel (most do) that the races should stay with there own race. this goes back to the days of slavery. like i say (most feel that way) not all.
