As a scientist in my circle, we've deduced that reincarnation only applies to beings with a conscience. All creatures posess a spirit but only humans posess a conscience. Everyone does not reincarnate. That depends on the type of energy that inhabits your body. When we die, our spirit-ghost-soul-lifeforce does not die since it is composed of energy and The Law of Matter and Energy clearly states that matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed. But into what? Who knows. This might explain different types of phenomena that human beings are supposedly subjected to upon death such as; reincarnation, past lives, teleportation, astral projection, energy transference, etc.

There are some HIndu traditoins that say that a person can come back as an animal if their karma is more suited to that form.
I believe that plants and trees and rocks are all various expressions or incarnations of Spirit, some of these spirits are very advanced souls who are taking alternative routes or taking a break.
In some aboriginal languages, the word for "people" refers to any living beings, not just human. So there can be plant people, rock people, animal people, star people, etc. Human beings are referred to by a specific word which often becomes the name others use to refer to that aboriginal nation.

Why would you think coming back as an animal would be punishment? But yes, I don think you can come back as an animal but not because you have bad karma. Animals are our friends!
I think plants and trees are the appendages of the Earth and I think the Earth has a spirit known as Mother Goddess. I don't think rocks have a spirit, but they are apart of Mother Goddess and they should be admired and respected, just like plants, trees and animals.

Reincarnation is give you back a chance for you to achieve the great goals...of course this is not easy to achieve ...so there are many challanges that you must face...
Plants and trees actually doesn't have any spirits,,, they have spirit because there are some immortal live inside the plant or near by,,,they live there because they wanna see human is good or bad or harmful...After that they take note and report to the king of KArma...A human with a lot of good karma,of course have a little challenge for him when he has reincarnation...and bad human of course have a lot of challenge

You are quite misinformed about Hinduism!! Hinduism do believe in incarnation but do not say we incarnate into animals.
Hinduism says we reached human stage after taking birth in 8.4 million species.
A human being reincarnate as a human unless one is exteremely violent (then he goes back to animal to satisfy his urges)
Reincanation is a truth and if a book does not approve it, Sun will not start circling around the earth.
The core philosophy of Hinduism is different from hindu mythology. This philosophy solves the problems of the universe and tell us how to go to our next stage of evolution which is Divinity.
Most of the misinformation about hinduism is spread by missionaries... to stop their people from studying hinduism, as it may lead to closure of their shops.
Our soul starts its journey from one celled ornganism and traversing through plants and animals have reached humans. As humans we have now to reach divinity, and for that we have to learn innumerable lessons for which one birth is not sufficient
hence after death, we spend some time in astral planes and come back to another body, to learn new lessons.
Gita says, like we change our old clothes, the soul changes its body and gets another body.

trees you can come back as. people trapped in a tree were lumberjacks or really mean spirits. rocks dont have spirits. animals are not punishment. i came back as a fox because i enjoyed it not because i was punished. sometimes people come back as animals because they killed that animal. other times its because they have a connection to that animal, or its a favorite of thiers.
kyle the question was for those that believe in reincarnation not for the spiritually ignorant.

In my opinion ,since we don't really know what happens on the other side, I think we come back as humans if we are humans. However, if all things are possible, it may happen that if you ask to come back as something other than human, you may get your wish.I also believe that you only reincarnate if you don't learn all the lessons you were supposed to learn while being here on earth. I suggest you do your best in life because as for me, I can only take one life on earth and I have no desire to come back....
