There is this guy I like and am planning on asking out. I want it to be very casual, as I think he is shy and might not say yes to a date right now. If I go somewhere with my son and casually say, hey, you should come hangout with us....is that okay? My son is a year. I go back and forth on this question.

Honestly i would wait on letting him meet your son, you dont want your son to get attached to this guy and then you end up not liking him, and him not being around anymore. go out with him a few times first and see how things go, then think about it
