This is the biggest misconception in the world. Jesus Christ never claimed divinity. he invited people to worship only 1 GOD. The 'theory of Trinity' and 'Jesus as Saviour' is nothing but an easy way to escape self-accountability and follow your mean desires.
The Belief in an afterlife is necessary for the proper sustainance of human kind. Where every soul has to account for whatever good or bad it has done. The 'Theory of Saviour' has destroyed our moral and ethical values. Just because Jesus died for our sins, do as you like is the belief of maniacs who want to rule the world as per their selfish & lustful desires.
Jesus Christ was a Prophet just like Joseph, Noah, Adam etc.
For guiding Mankind, in every age GOD sent a messenger. The Last and the final Messenger was sent to the most pagan tribes in the world. The people who used to eat dead meat, bury their daughters alive, were transformed into the most civilized people. The man is Muhammed, sent by GOD to affirm the true message of Moses & Jesus and to make every soul aware of the Hereafter, where every Good and Bad Deed will be weighed and returned.

If you are really born again, the type of things that you had no problem doing before you were Born again will start to bother you...you get a new heart and a new spirit and you begin to see things differently than you did when you were "dead in your transgressions". Ezekiel 36:26 God promises to give us a new heart and new spirit, Jesus is the way to receive that new heart and new spirit. But to answer your question NO you can't continue to live in sin and "get away with it" First of all your new spirit will desire to do what is right and good in the eyes of God even though your flesh may cry out it wants its way, what you do is up to you at that point, give in to your flesh or obey the spirit, but if you choose the flesh desire you will no longer have peace within you.

That is the foundation of Christianity, specifically protestantism, but also Catholicism if you had enough money to pay for your "sins."
Secular punishment excluded; you will be punished under atheist (secular) law, but you will live in eternal luxury under spiritual law.
Additional comment:
According to generally accepted Christian doctrine, Jesus died to pay the price for all sin. Christians are not required to obey the law or do anything else. Those claiming otherwise must be following some weird cult because Christians are not required to obey any known laws to be accepted into heaven.

No, God punishes His kids. You won't lose your salvation, but check out Romans 6.
In Romans 5, Paul is talking about Christian liberty, that God's grace cover every sin.
Then, Romans 6:1 says, "What shall we say then? shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid! How can we, who are dead to sin, still live in sin?" It goes on to say that when we accept Jesus' gift, our old sin nature is crucified with Christ. We no longer have to sin.
Besides, what does light have to do with darkness? Ephesians 5:6 says "Let no man deceive you with empty words: for because of these things(fornication, idolatry, covetousness--things mentioned in verse 5) the wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience."
Why would you want to sin when you are freed from it by Christ's blood?

That is definitely not the belief of Christians. We will all be held accountable for our actions on judgment day. We can ask God for forgiveness for our sins but that does not give us the right to go out and sin just because we know we can ask for forgiveness. God knows your heart. If you're not being true, you cannot fool God.

If you rob the text of its spirit, then you have a point, but after atonement comes a GENUINE change of who you fundamentally are. In short if you were operating in the manner that you suppose, you would by definition not be an actual believer in Christ because anyone who has been truly born again and changed by the Holy spirit would not pursue life in such a manner.

No, You can't.
If you believe in Jesus as your Savior, then you must do his teaching. If you don't , it means you don't believe in him, and he will know. The ten Commandment. includes no to fornicating, stealing, murder among others. You can't play around the rules with the intention to later on state that you believe in him, and all the while you already had planned it.

A person of any background or previous sin can be saved if they repent of their sins and accept Jesus. But if you decide to do all these things and die before that ever happens you will have a long time to think about it.

No! If you are a Christian you won't be driven to do any of these. If you are tempted it will not be above that you are able to resist and He will provide a way of escape. If your desire is to fornicate, steal, murder, lie etc with no punishment I would doubt your salvation! Our aim is to become Christlike not to sin and keep sinning and hope to be forgiven in the end.
However "if we walk in the light....the Blood of Jesus cleanses and keeps cleansing us from all sin" As we WALK IN THE LIGHT. If our aim is to sin and keep sinning we ARE NOT walking in the light.

No, Sin has consequences. When you sincerilly repent you are less likely to commit these horrible sins again. However even though all Christians recieve salvation, our earthly sins will also be made know to all.
