It depends on my mood really. A good ol warm bowl of mashed potatoes can cure any bad day, but fried potatoes sure can cause a craving.

Absolutely love mashed potatoes, especially with meatloaf on the side. Mashed potato beats fried anyday, except breakfast, where homfries are always a treat.

Fried. Goes better with ketchup plus sometimes mashed potatos are too lumpy.

Fried potatoes. I found a secret to crispy brown potatoes. Lard. Yep it's the only thing I use it for is to fry potatoes. I drain them on a paper towel to remove the excess grease. Vegetable oils just don't do a good job.

potatoes are great no matter how they are cooked!
i like to fry mine (make chips) and also mash them

mash is my 'at the moment ' fav...

nice and creamy... either by themselves with a few onion flakes or onion salt in them or mix them up with carrots or pumpkin mashed with them...

mmmm... getting hungry now!
