We have to drive though and I was wondering if anyone with local knowledge would recomend a place to eat (not a fast food joint) not to far off 64

Alright...Interstate 64...actually goes through Huntington and Charleston area...To get to Parkersburg you would have to hit I-77N...which is probably out of your way...so I would just stop in the Huntington or Charleston...
Both areas have NUMEROUS restaraunts...I recommend the Outback...There is a Cracker Barrel, many steak house buffets...I guess it depends on what your family prefers...But trust whatever they are craving you can find in those areas...Just watch the signs...Everything in those areas are fairly close to the exits and super easy to get to.

What city do you want to stop in? There is Huntington, Charleston, Williamsburg, Lexington, Norfolk. ....just to name a few. I drive through W.Va all the time to go to Philadelphia or Outer Banks, NC. I suggest you figure out what time you should be entering into a main city area for dinner and research from that. Or call your local AAA office. They aren't just for road maps and roadside assistance anymore.
