It is a pionex web cam..It was given to me. I plug it into my usb port. It says I need the cdrom software...

Depends on the make of the cam, some don't require software, or if it does require software you can normaly get it from makers site.

it is not posible to get a work from it if it is ask for software installation but if u have windows xp u don't need to install it

try to search ur model driver on internet or give me ur cam model i will give u the links or driver

if itrs not plug and play you need driver
