I had a perm once my aunt put it in for me it was one you get in a box at the store but it did not work but know i wont another one but i dont know how much they cost.

it really depends on how long your hair is and what you want done, a friend of mine had straight hair and wanted it really curly. her hair was about an inch or two below her shoulder and it cost her about 125. also, different salons have different prices, if you call your local salons you can ask them and compare prices. a cheaper alternative would be if you have a school of cosmetology in your area. the students get to learn how to do a perm and you will probably get the lowest price around there. if you dye your hair from a box most hair stylists won't perm your hair since you run the risk of ruining your hair. if you get a perm with box-dyed hair it can make your gummy. some salons offer a test though and will take a part of you hair and put the perming solution on it to see if this will happen to you. hope this helps and be careful

If you're buying it at the store it'll cost between $5-$10. If you want to go to a salon $25 and up.

If you get one @ a salon, they guarantee them to work or they usually do it again. They range about $60 depending on your hair's length.
There could be lots of reasons the box one didn't work.

About $120 at a cheap salon if you have shoulder length hair. If you want to get one in a box, about $12.

usually about 65.00 for a good one but it depends where you go I agree with the store bought is alot cheaper,but I just don't have the patience
