Look at how many people have had tetnus disease in your state. Then look at how many people had tetnus shot and had tetnus in your state. In most states in the U.S. the answer is zero or the the tetnus shot actually caused tetnus. Why risk depressing your immune system with a vaccination if more people get the sisease from the vaccination than get it from other vectors? If you are living in a overpopulatedl area of Asia or Africa, you might think about it but at least consider the risk first.
