Sure do, it's normal. I use a sound machine and it is wonderful. The one I have has a timer on it or I can leave it on all night. It has several sounds to listen to, but my favorite is the rain sound, it's sound just like the rain outside my window. It also drowns out other sounds in the house, like the creaking houses usually make. It also drowns out my neighbors dog and vehicles when they are leaving. I have to stay by myself alot and it sure helps me, plus I take it with me if I go out of town too. Help when you're in unfamiliar places and not use to unfamiliar sounds. I bought my sound machine at Radio Shack, it was worth the money. Good luck.

It's hard when they are away. To get to sleep take a hot bath and then try drinking some Sleepytime tea. You'll be more relaxed and more likely to doze off. Nite.

Yeah, it sucks. I have to have the radio or TV on to fall asleep. It may help to snuggle up with your spouse's pillow if it has her scent on it --- the faint smell can be comforting.
