What's the different between all these test: ACCUPLACER, THEA, TSI, SAT and CAT test? i know that in Texas they have this two test called THEA and TSI. unless there's more that i dont know of. i really didnt do much research, but i am going in tomorrow and speak with the conselor. i need to get a guideline for Radiologist Technician. there's so many question. anyways, thanks in advance for all you reply.

They're all Ability to Benefit tests that schools use to gauge their applicants' scholastic aptitude (and/or their readiness for higher education).

The SAT is probably the most widely-used of the ones you mention -- most schools will take it and many schools won't take anything else, which is why so many students go this route first. Your school will determine which tests they accept and might be able to give you recommendations as to which one(s) they prefer. You probably won't want to go take a test before knowing that they accept it.

If you meant ACT, rather than, CAT, I have never heard of a school not accepting that.
