Visitors for pleasure who require a visa may stay up to a year with 6 month extensions afterwards, and it would seem that Canadians would be able to do the same.

It is generally 6 months for B-2 vistors with extensions for 6 months at a time. However what ever it is, it is at the discretion of the immigration officer who stamped your documents. They usually wirte how long you can stay such as 2 weeks up to 6 months. So check your documents.

I think it's either 6 months, 90 days, or 6 weeks.

Stay until they kick everyone else out.
They can't single you out and not others.
