All day as in about 24 hours...she doesnt seem to be in any pain at all, which i find odd....i don't think she realizes what is happending to her, she is pretty young.

Sounds like the kitten is stuck...If the kitten is not delivered within an hour, please take the cat to a veternarian as she could die in delivery.

Don't panic! I've had cats have a kitten in the morning and not have another until the wee hours of the next morning. This usually happens if there is an unordinary amount of noise or action in the household that the cat is not used to.
If your kitty is doing alright otherwise she should be fine. The sac hanging out is a natural occurence and could go back and forth for quite some time, it's not the kitten it's the water sac. When it breaks the kitten should come out within half an hour.
Good luck but if you are not a breeder of registered cats please get your kitty spade asap.

Babys are born in a sac that the mother will pierce open on birth and then start to lick the kitten to stimulate breathing. The mother will then go on to chew the umbelical cord and eat the placenta, you should allow this as this provides much nutrients. Kittens are usually born one after the other. If she has not passed the kitten by now you should take your cat to the vet immediately or you could loose both the kittens and your cat.

It's most likely one of the 'bag of waters'...my cat had kittens last night on my bed, her first litter. She had a fairly short labor, and her first kitten by 9:30 pm...then it stalled til 4:30 am when she had her second and then her third, (breech birth) an hour later. She had a bulging sac, prior to each kitten. The first one broke/burst and squirted amniotic fluid, but the other two she broke and cleaned up herself. I assisted her with the third kitten, just by making sure she stood up and continued to push it out. She was busy trying to clean it up with it still half inside her. Just watch and make sure she doesn't or the kittens seem to be in distress, assist when needed and be sure they're all kept out of drafts and cold air. Good luck with the kitties!

I don't know. I'm not a vet or anything.
I would call your vet or the nearest animal emergency hospital on the phone and get them to walk you through it. Is she in severe distress? Exhausted? Can you get her to drink a few sips of water from your hand? You should ask what to do about the first kitten that was born too.

I am not sure cause i am not a vet but it sounds lyk a kitten is suck and i might need help coming out so i think the best thing to do is take her to the vet hospital to have your cat looked at to make sure nothing else is wroung in there.

Your cat will be in labor all night. It's usually best to leave nature alone. You probably have 3 or 4 more kittens to go.

you might try pulling it out.
Put on some rubber gloves if you have them.
usually there is more than one kitten and the sac is the
" afterbirth" it usually comes out after the kittens.
Also call a vet if you can.

Call an emergency vet immediately and they can walk you through some questions and answers to see if you can help your cat or if it is safe to move her and take her in. You need to ask them because she may need immediate help and not have time to get to the vet. Don't be cheap CALL NOW!!!

do not try to pull it out. If it's a kitten, you will hurt it. If she's not straining and pushing alot, there is nothing wrong. Sometimes it just takes a while. If she is straining and pushing alot, you need to take her to the vet asap!
