Yes; I am! Look up solstice online and you'll find many ideas for parties, esp. games for the kids!
I don't have any SMALL kids anymore and they haven't yet made me grandma (thank the gods!).. so, can't really think of games..
Also, look up NewEngland 1500-1700 Solstice for great game ideas!

We'll be packing up the tent and going up the mountains nearby and camping out for the night. We will have a bbq and a special liqueur I got from scotland called Stag's Breath ( whisky & honeycomb liqueur mmmm) and will dance and sing, tell a few stories round a big fire. I will meditate early next morning.
There is a big celebration in the Hills of Tara in the South of Ireland, but I see no reason why I can't have an equally great celebration up here in the north.
I am so looking forward to it.

I personally celebrate the Summer Solstice because it is part of my religious practice. I usually just reconise it with maybe a ritual and some fresh home-made bread. My son and I also go out side and draw "sunny" pictures on the side-walk. Nothing too special though...my big holiday is Samhein.

Well, I'll be working all night, so my husband and I will probably light a candle and meditate for a bit or something, since I don't have time for anything elaborate. Not that we'd notice the sun going down anyway--here in Anchorage Alaska, it's more like the longest TWO days of the year because the sun doesn't really go down! I was noticing last night that it didn't even get dusky.

I most certainly will be celebrating the solstice.... We will be doing a full circle Traditional, followed by a party. Should be quite enjoyable

I celebrate Litha. I usually first do a home blessing and then I will have a light meal of vegetables and fruits and then have some quiet meditation in my backyard. I don't have children so sorry I can't help you with ideas for that.

A quiet walk through the wooded part of our property and through the grass land just to see the beauty in everything. Blessed be.

I can't say I'll celebrate, but I'll be spending time outside alone and in contemplation, perhaps smiling upward.

We stay up late and get up early, enjoying the longest hours of sunlight in the year.
