I'm really interested in religion but I don't know enough about it. I want to hear about any religion, Catholicism, Christianity, Judaism, Mormonism, Islam, Paganism, Atheism, Buddhism, and any others.

All religion is man's understanding of God or TRUTH. The TRUTH is God is not religious, He is real. Anytime an individual has gotten a little piece of TRUTH it creates a vacuum and the sheep flow to it like bees to honey. That is because we are all seeking TRUTH, and we are all born with a God shaped void. When someone speaks just a little TRUTH it is like a drug to the seeking. The problem with that is that as soon as they have heard that truth from another humans mouth, they feel that they are some type of prophet or something. and in many cases a religion has been built around that revelation.
I have studied as many religions as I could possibly stand, and then I went back and studied what we call Christianity. I found out that the teachings of Jesus were not about starting a religion, but about TRUTH so as to finding your own personal relationship to the TRUTH, or God, for another of His many names.Once you are truly connected to the TRUTH, It begins to reflect your true self and you realize you were made in the image of that TRUTH. Truth becomes the teacher through Truth's Holy Spirit, and you do not need any religion. Thank you Jesus!

Islam is the religion which we believe that the true and ever lasting religion.
It was sent through Muhammad (peace be upon him) to the people on the earth.
It depicts us that:
Allah the Almighty is the only one who created everything in this universe and the only to be worshiped.
Muhammad(peace be upon him) is the last and final prophet of him.
To believe that quran is the word of Allah the Almighty and can never be changed or modified by any means.
to pray five times a day
to fast for the whole month of ramadan
to pay zakat to the deserving poor people
and to do pligram (Hajj) of Kaba' atlest once in life.
This is islam and followers of islam are called muslims.

Atheism is actually the lack of religion. Atheists do not necessarily believe that there is no god. They simply do not believe in a god. There is a difference. Whenever one makes a positive statement such as, "I know this to be true." They have to give evidence in support of their proposition. If they have no evidence, they should not be considered seriously.

Religion has yet to provide me one piece of empirical evidence, therefore I do not subscribe to belief in it. I do not have to prove anything, yet theists would have to back up their statement of, "I know that there is a god." with evidence and proof.

easily, many people from all over the area view the country as a fanatical gestalt with an obsession for money (capitalism), capacity, and egotistical overtones of "God's on our element", previous all else. guy or woman individuals aside, the gestalt sucks. playstation : you could not return to the middle Age with the aid of fact your society did no longer initiate back then. PPS: classic binary oppositions at the same time with Self and different, devil and Angel, devil and God, Yin and Yang, sturdy and Evil, suggestions and physique, subculture and Nature, actuality and visual attraction, etc are not getting you very some distance in terms of enlightenment. evaluate drawing close those factors in a distinctive way, like with the aid of a psychological kaleidoscope.

It is amazing how much Judaism and Islam have in common. Change Allah to Yaweh, fasting on ramadan to fasting on yom kippur, praying 5 times a day facing mecca to 3 times a day facing jerusalem, zakat to zedakah, etc.

My wish is for peace on earth, to remember our similarities, and that faith and the quest for knowledge bring out the best in us, and that faith inspires us to live every day with kindness to our fellow human.

I don't practice a specific religion but I have some beliefs that I will share..
I believe that our souls are on a mission to perfection. in order to complete our 'perfection' we must go through many life cycles (reincarnation) to learn different things, and to live up to our full potential. I believe there is a god that created us.. but it is not a punishing god.. it is a loving god.. and that is why he forgives and allows us to live again and again until we can become whole., suicide only delays your journey to perfection.. and if you commit suicide you don't go to hell.. but rather are incarnated again and must live another life over until you can get over the obstacles that are set before you

[Exodus 20:3-5] & [Deuteronomy 5:7-9] says
"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:"

I am a southern baptist and we believe that the way to heaven is to accept Christ as savior and let Him influence your life with the holy spirit. That's about it.
