I think that so long as it doesn't bother either of you - go for it. When I was 18 I dated a guy who was 40 - there's nothing wrong with it so long as you have things in common and you don't let the age different impact the relationship.

As a 41 year old woman, I find 30 year olds immature. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule so if you can relate, then go for it.

I think age is a number, what matters its whats on the inside! Although it is much different if one of the individuals is a young adult; young adults need to understand the changes that they go thru in thier 20's are most often just as dramatic as the changes they went thru during thier teen years!

@ 10 years is really not much difference after you reach certain ages, now when she was 20 and he would have been 9 that would not have worked very well,
But if they stay together, women as a vague fact often live longer, so that ages them close together in latter years ok also

I don't think it's anything wrong with it. If you two like each other then it's beautiful. I am 27 years old and I date a 39 year old man.

p.s. I personally prefer the guy to be older than the girl, but that's only because I have issues of listening to anyone younger than me. Whatever works, though. I mean c'mon. It's your life, not ours.
