When a woman is pregnant, her body's hormones fluctuate. Have you ever heard of post-partum depression? That's when a mother gets depressed after having her child. This is due to the fact that her hormones are unbalanced after having carried a child and suddenly there isn't one anymore. Thus, pregnant women's hormones cause them to be more irritable. It's kind of like when some girls get their period, they get more irritable. It all has to do with the body's natural hormones balancing out what the body is doing at the moment.
Plus, pregnant women have to carry all that around and still be the best women on earth. I'd be angry a lot too, lol.

When I was pregnant, I felt emotional in general. I would cry for what seemed to other people, no reason. Of course, to me there was quite an obvious reason. Some people get angry when they hurting emotionally. Another thing that made me get angry was when my blood sugar dropped, or rather, when I got hungary. I had to eat immediately when I was hungary, otherwise I felt extremely violent. Of course, I agree with all the others. It all boils down to hormones. Your body is preparing itself to be a mama. There is a huge influx of estrogen involved! :)

Ummm. I know for a fact not everyone is, because I was not. I was for the most part very happy minus the time I was nauseous for the first three months, and then when I was actually in labor with my first... I was not nice at all once the pain from the inducing my labor kicked in...... I think everyone hated me at that moment.....!

There is a huge hormone fluctuation...and sometimes it can cause mood swings too. Hopefully mama isn't angry anymore. :)

Hormones control your emotions. You can be really happy one moment and really upset the next. Maybe in your mom's case she didn't want to be pregnant that is just my guess.
