That's a hard one to answer. I know a couple that met for the first time and was married 12 hours later, and have been for 65 years. I would say they found something in each other that the most of us can't.

its hard to say when you will fall in love with someone. you cant put a time limit on love. you will know when you are in love for most ppl it take maybe a year but for some it will take longer or even shorter. but u will kno its love as long as it is over a month becuz in the first couple months the brain sends off endorphins that make u feel in love when really your not and after a couple of months those go away thats why you shouldnt rush in to anything. time is not an option in love. their is attraction at first sight and love at first sight. for some, it may take 20 years for them to fall in love, others 2 weeks or 2 days. you just have to wait and see. spend your time doing things you want to do away from him and him the same away from you, go a couple days with out calling, maybe try a week, if you still cant live without him and he is on your mind 24/7 and i mean constantly where everything you do brings your thought right back to him, then you are in love. BUT IT TAKES DIFFERENT AMOUNTS OF TIME FOR EACH AND EVERY PERSON, DON'T RUSH INTO IT AND DON'T HOLD BACK...!!!

It takes a while if I was to pick a number I would say 6 months. In 6 months you should know that person pretty well. Loving a person takes a much shorter time.

you can fall in love with someone the minute you see them. i am 15. my boyfriend who is 17, almost 18, and i met at church, and i thought that he might be the one. for the first time in my life i had enough gus to write down my name and all my contact ifo with a little note that said "if you ever get bored, give me a call", and slip it into his pocket. that night he called me, talked to me on the phone from 9:00pm- 1:30am (4 1/2 hours!) and asked me out. we have been together for 4 months and are so in love. we already know that one day we want to get married and be together for the rest of our lives. it can happen!
