Nope, it means your baby has a healthy heartbeat. Good luck on the ultrasound next month, I'm sending your un-modest open leg baby vibes!

Both my pregnancies have been 'text book' girl symptoms, 99.5% of the girl wivestales were accurate to my pregnancy, and they are both 100% boy!

I had 3 boys and they were all between 150 and 160. I heard 140 and below was a girl and 150 and above is a boy. Now 140 to 150? I dont know.

It doesn't mean a thing. All three of my children were supposed to be boys according to sonograms etc...all of them are girls...the only way to know is when they come out. I makes the nursery decorating a bit of a challenge as well as clothes BUT just go with stuff that is gender neutral and only buy the minimum of gender specific items.

No, we can't assume baby boy or girl by counting on thier heartbeat, better you wait till your seven month's then go and scan your can get the most accurate answer

That is really not a deciding factor. My daughter's heartbeat is always between 142-150 when we go to the doc.

Good luck

The heart rate thing is fun to think about, but it doesn't mean anything. I didn't know the gender of either of my children during pregnancies. The nurses at my doctor's office all bet on them being boys, based on heart rate, and they're both girls.

Ask the doctor for the gender. It will be a lot easier than using the heart rate to tell the gender. Best wishes to you and god bless that baby.

You shouldn't worry about whether or not your having a boy. You should be worried about how the hell your going to support this child your carrying and if the babies daddy will be around to help you.
