Nope. If you look into ancient Jewish culture, you will find that Jesus ministry was based on the tradition of an exorcist. Raising the dead was actually a common occurrence, because at some point the exorcist had to produce bigger and better evidence of his power.
Lazarus was simply an example of the rule, not an exception of it. This is thoroughly documented in secular Jewish history. Also, there have been others "raised" in other cultures from China to western Europe prior to the birth of Christ.
It is a pretty common god-myth. Since Christians seem to believe that Jesus never died after the resurrection, I would like to know his address, phone #, social security number, and political affilliation. What kind of car does he drive? Does he prefer Rebocks or K-Swiss shoes for everyday activities? What is his favorite resturant, and does he enjoy X-rated moves or does he draw the line at PG-13? Why doesn't he make personal appearances anymore, or at least show up for ribbon cutting ceremonies when someone opens a new mall?
This information does not exist, because Jesus died on the cross for sedition. Period. End of story.

Jesus Christ is the first to overcome death. Jesus is the first one who was ressurected.Meaning the body and spirit unite and never to divide again. Because of Christ's victory over death we all will be ressurected.
Revelations chapter 5:1 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth.Unto him that loved us,and washed us from our sins in his own blood.
King James version of the Bible
Also Acts 26:23 KJV of the bible
That Christ should suffer, and that he should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the gentiles.
I love my Savior.

If you remember, Lazarus was healed and brought back from the dead in John 11:38-44. That was before Jesus even died. BUT, Jesus was the first to rise on his own accord instead of being brought back by someone else.

He did raise Lazarus and as far as I know He was the first to rasie anyone from the dead. Also, he was the first to raise from the dead and enter into His Kingdom. If you believe the Bible you will believe that those who are "dead" now have not yet risen for the final judgement and therefore have not entered into everlasting life. Lazurus was raised and so were many others, none of whom are still living today in the sense that we Christians believe that Christ is.

Lazarus was the first to be raised from the Dead but after 4 days but he was used as an example. For Christ, was in the grave for three days. and it does not nullify act 26:23 it fulfilled it and you will have to read on in order to understand that. Christ death was suppose to assure us of something, and that is what you need to read and to find out why. Many people read the Bible but they are to busy trying to find fault in what is written but if they just read on just a Little the bible will clarify its self. and for a little clarification for you read John11:38:-42 & John 11:43-44 Please drop me a line and tell me what you think.

Elijah prayed and stretched out over the body of a dead boy - he came back to life.
Also the body of a dead man touched the bones of Elijah's apprentice (Elisha) and came to life.
Jesus was the first to rise from the dead with no prayer or assistance - a true absolute resurrection. Understand? No one before that rose on their own power.
Jesus said he had the power to lay down his life and to raise back again, because the Father (God) gave him that authority.

Of course not. Miraculous resurrections are an ancient mythic archetypal event common to religions around the world. Jesus himself came in a long tradition of Near Eastern deities who underwent sacrificial deaths and whose resurrection portended a general principle of resurrection from death. Osiris. Tammuz. Dumuzi. Inanna. It is more accurate to say that the myth of Jesus' resurrection became of greater significance in the second phase of the apostolic Christian community's growth, during the period when the Christian movement moved outside the Jewish cultural sphere and into the wider Hellenistic Roman world, in which resurrected life/death gods and demigods were the norm.
