So it is OK to eat a animal what has been seen for generations as the family garbage disposal. Lets go slop the hogs with our leavings

Let them believe what they want. That leaves more BLTs for the rest of us.

Personally, I think we should find a way to convince them that lasagna is an unclean food too.

There's nothing wrong with dog - great in a stew! I hope you have no problem eating any kind of animal - snail, snake, spider, maggot, cats, monkeys. Because obviously that would prove that you are just nuts.
For heavens sake, just because you don't understand other peoples rules doesn't mean they have no right to them.

the rules against eating pork stems mainly from the fact that pórk quickly turns to poison in hot countries ,
nobody had refrigeration in those days
and it was for reasons of health that the religion forbid it .

knowing that if one adviced hard headed people ,they would not take any notice ,but if it was forbidden they might listen.

I am not sure about Muslims, but Jews and kosher food have little to do with what is unclean or that something is wrong with certain food. Do you honestly think G-d cares if you have a cheeseburger.

Keeping kosher is about connecting with G-d. I do keep kosher btw.

what? nothing wrong with eating meat! And i am a vegetarian!! Just not one of those feak vegans!! I know because my husband is an adimant deer hunter and meat eater!!
He loves meat!! I hate it !! But we still after all this time because i serve him his meat at supper all the time even thoug h i do not eat eat it!! we are marriee d 11 yrs lol

actually,eating pork isn't just against some religion practices,some cultures will not eat pork either.

In India they do not eat Meat either!
