Depending on how big the tear is, yes, you can use an iron on patch. But you should probably iron it on from the inside. Then you'll only see the frayed part, and it won't tear anymore.

No. I easily have a feeling you're one in each of those human being who wears polyester trousers, on condition that you also positioned on lederhosen. that that they had explode into flames at even the sight of the lighter, some thing even the most proper tailor couldn't steer away from. As for the marshmallows...would you easily pick them on the seat of your pants? you'll follow each thing you sat on. The marshmallows would melt less than your body warmth besides and the hollow would go back.

Aleene's "Ok To Wash It" Permanent Fabric Glue is a versatile glue that dries clear and flexible and won't yellow.
This glue bonds fabric and embellishments to fabric and is ideal for home décor, washable wearables, costumes, and more. The bond will hold through repeated washings.

I believe you can iron on what's called "appliques." Some appliques can be ironed on. And if your tear is too big, then consider your mom, wife, girl friend, or local dry cleaner (which ever one applies to you!).
