Whole, perfect, and complete, as the perfect Love that created "us", as One Beloved Child, Who had a crazy thought, and made a whole unreal world in which to hide from God, Who had suddenly seemed separate, and frightening. That is the only true judgment...that nothing has changed...we remain just as created.

But in the 1800s and today pre-marital sex is still wrong, and so is murder, lying, deceit, jealousy, extra-marital affairs, blasphemy, cursing...
It doesn't matter if it's common place - it's still wrong.
God is just and all-knowing. People born after the proliferation of Christianity with the knowledge of His life and resurrection and who also deny his deity and offer of salvation will be judged accordingly. I have not completely formed an opinion on "eternal damnation" due to some questions I have regarding the translation of the Greek words for "eternal" (some insist that the word "eternal" has been incorrectly translated, and should read "an eon", which does have a definite ending point). I think that God will perhaps refine the non-believers through fire (although I don't know if it will be a literal fire). I think that His goal may be to force non-believers to recognize what His Son did for them, and if they have gone through their entire life in denial of that salvation, He's gonna drive that point home. Judgement will not occur until after Jesus Christ has made His return... it's called the Great White Throne Judgement, I believe. At that point, all non-believers will be judged, and from what I deduced from the Bible, it will not be a mandatory "life sentence" for all. He will examine each individually and sentence according to the person's character and actions they made in their life.

Sin is always sin. Time period does not matter. However some will be held to different standards. Teachers will be dealt with in a stricter fashion. People who never heard of Jesus will be judged by what they did with the revelation they had (Rom. 1)
Christians will be punished differently from lost persons. The thing to remember is that all will be judged. There will be two groups- lost and saved. you want to make sure you are in the saved group.

Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

In order to worry about judgement, I have to worry about a final location. I believe in reincarnation, I get a review of my life (mistakes and triumphs) and maybe a timeout (if I fail to properly adjust to being a disembodied soul) before I return. I believe that all humans innately know the difference between right and wrong (and this is another good topic for debate), it's just that some are slow learners. In the end, we all get to the same place, and the length of time it took to finish isn't important when you do finally arrive.

Unfortunately, this would imply a change of morality. Morals, simply put, cannot change. At least not their basic principles. We will be judged, but differently. Those who have trusted in Christ will be judged according to what we did to serve Him. We still enter in to Heaven, just with more or less reward. Those who have rejected Christ are judged by the law. Of course, everyone is found wanting in that instance...

I think if you lead a good life and you take care of your family and friends, and of course don't kill anyone, you'll be judged good. Just because you had sex before you were married or because you cheated on a test, whatever the case, I wouldn't want to believe that would be taken into account on your acceptance into heaven.

How? Whether or not we followed The Law in our lifetime, the same Law that has stood the test of time ever since It was given to man...
And knowing that we are ALL sinners, even the just, God gives us the opportunity to repent and make up for the errors in our ways, as taught to mankind by His Messenger and our Redeemer, Yeshua Messiah/Jesus Christ, who shows us the True Path to Salvation...
Peace be with you!

The God is just. Luckily we are not going to be saved only if we were good. Jesus died for our sins. All the ones that we have done, we are doing and what we will do. We just have to recognize Him as our Lord and Savior and accept His gift of mercy.
Bible says that God's word is valid in all times, past, present and future. When we accept Jesus,we also need to abandon our bad ways. Repent from our sins. God forgives our sins, we just have to ask forgiveness and acknowledge our bad ways.
Read the Bible, and pray for His wisdom.

We will not be judged. Judgment and punishment are human constructs, not Godly ones. God loves us as is.
What will happen is that we will have the opportunity to review our entire lives, but from the perspective and through the feelings of the people we interacted with. Ouch! That will be punishment enough for me!

God never changes. He will judge the people who lived in the 18th century by the standard that he will judge the people who live in the 21st century. Man's standards change constantly but God's standards are based on what He taught you in His holy Word -- the Bible. God is love. Go to him in prayer, confess your sins and ask him to forgive you of your sins and there will be no sins for him to judge. It's really pretty simple.
