It is best to check the school's handbook. Generally they outline what is and is not acceptable contact between teacher and student. When he signed his contract, he stated that he would abide by those rules. It is also unethical to date a student that actually attends your class. He could lose his teaching license if that is the case.

if he will, he's a fool, he might be charged with the anti sexual harassment act since he has moral ascendancy over you as a teacher.Have mercy on him!!!!! Even if you're not the one who complains, this is considered a criminal act in some states and anyone can make a report.
