Im 20 and I have dated a 28 yr old when I was 16 and have been with a 32yr old for over a year now. It can work it just depends on the individuals involved.
My boyfriends, although they were older, were'nt the kind of ppl to get me into trouble or want to get me to try things Id never before etc etc. If the 24 yr old is irresponsible, then it's quite different.

People.....if you would have read the question correctly you would see its only a six year difference. Their is nothing wrong with an 18 year old dating a 24 year old no matter who is 18 and who is 21. Give me a break already!

nothing wrong with it.... as long as the 18 year old has mature enough to understand the type of relationship it is likely to be and the 24 year old understands what the 18 year old wants out of the relationship.... there is 13 years between my parents.. they've been married for 45+ years... so, it can work...

there isn't any felony situation, yet when the 18 years previous is a guy, and the 24 years previous is a woman, then it may`t paintings because, females at 24 years previous are looking older men, frequently over 25 to marriage, or an quite serius relation and, a 18 years previous boy isn't take heed to it _____ yet, if the 24 years previous is guy, and the 18 years previous is a woman, that's appropriate !
