ok theres real satanist and then theirs children who use the name in order to have an excuse for doing bad things. ill try to explain
Real satanist dont worship Satan at all. they beleive that there is an order of things and that there is both good and evil in the world. it also explains that life is amazing and that you should live life to its fullest and at the end it isnt Jesus that makes you suceed in life or its not the devils fault bad things happen to you. its all about taking responsiblity for yourself. a person does know the right from the wrong and good from evil but alltimitly its your choice, and that is what makes life great. every person is their own god. now some people might be selfish and take that too far too and but it does state that whole blood and innocent thing so the people you see in the news are those immature people acting out. also they dont judge other religons because the admire the dedication people devote to their faith cause again its a persons choice to worship whoever.
The bad stereotype we have is unfair because of a couple people who take things too far, like other stereotypes like muslum extremeist or christians who killed many people in the saleem witch period because they thought they were riding gods earth of Demons. once again these people had chooses and made the evil one.

Amen, Jolly Roger! I had a friend years ago who was a "Satanist". He was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. The "religion" has nothing to do with worshipping the devil. They just don't believe that they have to suffer the rules and hypocroses of the Christians. Just because they believe something different than you, doesn't make them wrong.

They are entitled to their religion just as much as christians or any other religion. As for their lifestyle, ****, to be honest how the hell would I know? I've never had a satanist friend, not that I don't want one it's just hard to come across a satanist these days...

There's almost no difference between the way a Satanist behaves and the way a Christian behaves, except that Satanists don't knock on your door trying to recruit.

That is the true Satanist. The guys who perform blood rituals and human sacrifices are the ones who got it mixed up.

If worshiping Satan-the root word of Satanists- makes you or whoever happy, then go for it.I have nothing against anyone or any their personal beliefs.I just don't believe as you.

I don't think Satinism as a whole is bad in the religious aspects. All religion has its good points...And I think this is an example of being no diffrent...
I think as long as they have faith in something they are good people to me. Alot of so called CHRISTIANS have done some of the most horrific crimes known to man, Just to let you know...

I think they lack personality and attention, so attempt to take on what they believe society will react to in order to feel 'noticed'
Sadly for them, society couldn't really give a monkeys about their 'satanic beliefs' and isn't worried in the slightest about what they practice, thereby denying them the attention they crave so much.
Leading to people like you, asking questions like this.
Hope it helps.

I have known several Satanist, and although I have very different beliefs then them, I have found that their main goal is to just enjoy life and they are not devil worshipers . Although I think Anton LeVay is very weird.
